News Highlight — New York Personal Injury Case

A New York jury awarded $72.5 million to Aurora Beauchamp, a cancer patient who was knocked down and dragged by an MTA bus on the Lower East Side in 2017.She suffered severe pelvic injuries and partial paralysis in her left leg. The jury deliberated for less than three hours before reaching the verdict. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) said it intends to appeal the decision.
